Agile Project Planning and Estimating
Workshop Overview
Agile methodologies such as Extreme Programming and Scrum
are gradually being accepted by more and more software
development teams and organizations around the world. The
drive towards agility is based on the promise of being able to
deliver high quality software in a fast, flexible and incremental
fashion.

In order for any Agile project to succeed a tremendous amount
of planning and estimating takes place throughout the
development life cycle. The Team plays a central role during
these planning activities but the ScrumMaster and the Product
Owner are instrumental in this process.

A company's ability to attract knowledgeable product owners
and scrumMasters is the key to developing a successful Agile
team. These individuals must be fully dedicated to the team and
must be equipped with solid understanding of Agile principles,
knowledge and understanding of business requirements, project
management and software development.

Learning Objectives
What is agile planning? Why are there so many planning
